The Koth Family
Chuck and Jane Koth – Directors of The Children's Legacy
We have a God given passion to reach out to homeless children whether they are in a far off nation or right here in the United States. Most of us take being a member of a family for granted. We seldom pause to consider children who have experienced such serious abuse, neglect or poverty that they are unable to remain with their families as well as children that are abandoned or in need of a home due to the illness or death of a parent.
Our focus until now has been international, but God has spoken clearly to us that we need to begin to reach out to the orphaned children right here in the United States. There are over half a million children in the care of the state and almost half of them will never be able to return home.
What better place to begin a children's home than right in the midst of a prayer community. Mike Bickle has allowed us to build a Christian Children's Home on Shiloh. We want to provide children with a home and a hope for the future.
We believe in this atmosphere we can help children grow up to become all that God has destined them to be. (Luke 2:52) This home will be the first of many just as Prayer Houses are being birthed across the earth I believe this will be the first of many children's homes to be birthed alongside.
